My journey in Internet Marketing started in December 2006 when i chanced upon an online course called Jumpstart To Online Profits by Stuart Tan. I signed up for the 2 days workshop and after which, my knowledge in Internet Marketing began to increase and things started to change for me forever! I also made some great friends and successful internet marketers from the course and subsequent networking sessions.
I started using what i learned from the workshop to explore the internet and did trials and testings for different products. I was all over the shop going crazy over this new found knowledge and learned that there are lots of different ways of making money online! One of the products i promoted in the early days was Mike Filsaime’s -Death of Internet Marketing and i made my first $100 from that.

After that i was so elated to see the results i had achieved (for a beginner, even the very first dollar gets you very excited…..i dunno why and i cannot describe the feeling) and i went on to try out other areas of Internet Marketing including Affiliate Marketing, Blogging and eBay.
I managed to earn some money too from Affiliate Marketing and Blogging but soon realized that i do not have so much time for so many different things. The money i made was all over the place and i do not see a substantial sum coming in.
I need to be good at something and it was best that i choose only one to be good at! At least i have to be quite good at it before i move on to other areas. So i was planning which area to go into and thought Heck! Let’s decide after i go for a holiday! So i booked a ticket to Bangkok, Thailand and while shopping there, i had another great idea of the niche i wanna go into on Internet Marketing and that is eBay! So i bought some goods back to try out and sold them on eBay and i hit my first $1000! That was much better than the small measly sum i was getting from all the other various programs! You can read about how i made my first $1000 here

The result meant a lot to me back then as i had resigned from my day job as a bank officer and had decided to do Internet Marketing at a full time basis. I had grown tired of the rat race and told myself if i don’t make it online and cannot survive, i will then go back to find a job, become an employee again. So i worked hard at growing my business and soon enough it grew into a real proper one assuring me that i would not have to work 9 to 5 again!

I had one of my best day ever on my eBay sales! Slowly my eBay business grew to a whooping 5 figures and i never look back! I know i have found something that can lead me to financial freedom and enable me to lead the dream lifestyle that i want to!

So as you can see i focus more on eBay and i will be happy to share my knowledge with all my readers out there! Feel free to leave me your comments and questions and i will try my very best to help you. Hi Connie, am a mother of 4, Singaporean and would like to do business on ebay too. What kind of things do u sell and how do i get supplier?
Hi Michelle,
I sell merchandises like t-shirts, accessories and stuff. You can get suppliers locally by talking to wholesalers or help to sell from shops that gives you good rates. Either that you can also go overseas and source for cheap goods.
Hello Connie,
Nice to know you here. I will always come to learn something about ebay with you …
~Zakri
Hi Zakri,
Thanks for dropping by. Let’s all learn and share together!
Hi Connie,
I just started my eBay business a few weeks ago but not so blooming at the moment. As I receive 2 fraud cases and it’s a bad start for me…but still I believe by not giving up, will definitely achieve something!
oh ya, a question, you always list your items on local eBay sites or US/UK?
Hi David,
It takes time to grow a business. Don’t let obstacles discourage you. Read my interview and you will know how i came a hard way. I list my items mainly on US site.
Cheers!
