Back from a wonderful retreat and wonderful weekend. Time spent with my beau was super sweet and nice! He whizzed me off to Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa Resort and we had a suite with panoramic view. We also have our own private balcony with sun chairs. King size bed was really big and comfy! Couldn’t ask for anything more. Had an interesting episode at the check in counter when the receptionist checked the booking details. Scenario below para-phrased:

Receptionist : Good afternoon sir, may i have your booking details?

Beau : Yes i have a reservation under name XXXX – XXXX Wee

Receptionist: (Checking on computer…..) Yes Dr. Wee we do have your booking details . (She got this funny expression on her face…)

Beau : Great

Receptionist proceeded to do the necessary and hand over room keys.

Receptionist : Have a pleasant stay with us Dr. Wee

Lolz that was funny. I knew that my beau have a Ph.D but he never use it as salutation. I then asked my beau:

Me : Darling how come i dun see you using your “Dr.” as a salutation?

Beau : Aiyah it’s pretty hard to call someone in shorts Dr. lah

Anyway we went to the pool to laze and had cocktails which was nice and refreshing. Talk about being totally relaxed, our minds were totally blank and not thinking of work or life back on the main land lolz. That was what i needed, a good rest and relax weekend. After that went back to room to wash up and went for a walk by the beach. Saw the musical fountain from a distance with fireworks. Had japanese food for dinner and ice cream for dessert. Sat by the beach to chill and just having that comfortable silence, spending time with each other was enough.
