The Feel Of Shakes In Singapore

Gosh! I actually felt the shakes from the earthquake in Sumatra in my office! Not very strong but significantly many could feel their office building moved. i was surfing the web in the office before lunch and all of a sudden felt the floor “moving”! i thought i was having vision problem and felt my chair tilted slightly like sitting on a boat out at sea. my colleagues went “Oh did you just felt that? did you?!!?” and there was a slight commotion in the office. the building security department did not make any announcement and so it should be fine. all of us went out for early lunch hahah, talk about kiasu singaporeans.

Back from lunch we were still discussing about the results of the Sumatra earthquake and there was another slight shift of the earth planes. many surfed for the latest news on the earthquake on Asiaone and read about what others have to say about their experiences all over Singapore. some areas felt the movement more distinctly than other areas. some people working in older buildings got to evacuted for a while for safety sake.

Well sometimes we are affected by news and stuff around us and all these should make our life abit more interesting, especially on this boring little island. incidents like these makes you raise an eyebrow sometimes :-p by the way i managed to solve the uploading problems last night with help from Ryan. phew! now to carry on what im going to do according to the plan laid out for myself. knowledge is power!
