I received a posted comment somewhere late last month and never really got down to replying and i should apologize for that. So now i will share with you guys the questions and concerns some might face when starting their online business. This was posted by Terence:

I happened to stumbled into your interesting blog while googling on IM, eBay, etc.

Actually, I’m contemplating to quit from my job and go full time into IM. To avoid spreading myself too thin, I would focus on Affiliating Marketing (PPC/SEM) and perhaps Article Marketing (SEO). I would venture into other areas of IM only after I’ve successfully made $$$ from Affiliate/Article Marketing.

To avoid any “credit crunch”, I have set aside my living expenses/expenditure for the next 2 years or so, and a 5-figure capital to fund my initial startup for my IM venture and any other related capital expenditure like extra laptop, etc. if necessary.

What’s your advice and opinion, based on your own experience? If one were to study and practise religiously, do you think is it viable to make $$$ within a year’s time? Thanks in advance for your time!

Chinese New Year is not even here yet and i have had some bad luck. Lost a bunch of hair when i had a comb accident, then pulled my hamstring while playing in bowling league. Now having walking problem…. hopefully all the bad luck will go away with the approaching Chinese New Year. Sales have been pretty consistent yet but i guess i will have to push it further after the holidays. No mood to do anything now and practically handicapped moving around. I guess i can afford to be lazy for a while hee…..

Time flies! Now we have reached the end of year 2008! To think that i have left my day job for one year already (i resigned in Jan but i see the whole year went by so it seems like one year) and i am still living the life i imagined it to be when i was still an employee. I guess there is no turning back now and i will only get better in the future. A time of recession even pushes me further to strive on and i believe there will certainly be opportunities for success!

This whole year i have gained some and lost some…… things have changed, people have changed, feelings have changed…….. i am not really sure why some stuff are still left hanging around with no answers….. or is it because we dun bother at all? Anyway with the start of a brand new year i wanna have a clearer view of my vision and hopefully i will find some answers.

Wow people, it’s december already! The whole year seems to fly past so quickly! I am not going to do a recap of the year yet cos i’m leaving it till the end. Things are the same as always…. busy…. busy and sales are rising for these 2 weeks. I hope it will stay that way till Christmas. All aside, i would like to congratulate my friends who did well in their online business for the past few months and say thank you to all those people who are popping by in Facebook as well as this site to read about my internet journey. I really appreciate all the little comments and such as it boosts my confidence and motivates me to progress on. Thank You Thank You!

Wow today i woke up to a surprise when i checked my emails over a cup of coffee. My interview with KC.Tan is LIVE! It’s on Facebook as well as on his site. I feel kinda happy and it makes my day! I hope that readers out there will find some motivation and insight after reading the interview. Hi guys, i know i left this blog empty for a pretty long time. Well….as usual am busy with stuff. Thank you all for the birthday wishes on Facebook on Halloween. I really appreciate it. Nothing really special this year as you know i’m not getting any younger hee hee so no point celebrating. I am currently exploring some new channels and perhaps i will be doing up something soon.

By the way my friend KC.Tan from www.kchut.com approached me to do an interview with him and well i felt honoured cos it’s my first actual interview really. So i hope he post up the interview soon and you guys can go read it. I am just a simple Singaporean gal working hard to achieve a decent living online and it is real life true example of how you can really earn a living online. I have been getting much more busier lately due to the increase in sales and more trips to my suppliers and the post office. I want to get the items out to my customers as soon as i can and considering that the custom clearing in some countries are pretty slow, it makes a lot of difference if you can mail out the items on time. So imagine everyday i gotta pack the items and then consolidate for just 1 or 2 days and then go to the post office!

I got chided twice by people this week queuing behind me (those impatient aunties!) and it was not a good feeling. They said it pretty loudly “Wah Lau this girl so many when will she finish??!!??” So i meekly stare at counter officer and pretend not to hear. The only consolation is that the service officer at the post counter always greets me with a smile and jokingly says ” YOU AGAIN!” hahah and have a lot of patience helping me clear the whole lot for mailing. I really appreciate that.

2 days ago when i finished my lot and turned my back to go, i saw that the queue had stretched till the door entrance of the post office! OMG i think i took pretty long for all my packages to clear even though i had already done the necessary at home to save time. Hee hee i think they must’ve all hated me inside their hearts!
