Woohoo! You guys must be wondering how did the game went? Wahahahah! It was detrimental! Now we really believe that Suekuni san really live up to his name of being one of the best in the world! Playing Othello with him was really an eye-opener! He dominated the game without a single sweat! Lolz while we were cracking our brains on how to block every of his moves, he already anticipated where we were going to put the next seed and he knew where to trap us. The infamous Suekuni Trap did its power and we were all defeated to a pulp! My results below–>

Wahahahah beaten and defeated flat on the ground hahahah! He declared in front of all that he was going to get 64-0 before we even started the game! And while in the midst of it i was still able to retain some of my black seeds but after he started to get the sides (not even corners yet) my seeds were turned faster than you even have time to say “Oh My God!” Then i keep having to pass cos there was no place for me to put a seed at all! It was really OMG!!!

After “killing me” my next 2 colleagues went on to play with Suekuni san and had the same results! There was no way! He even explained to us after the game on how we could actually get back in the middle of it by showing us the steps. He retraced all the steps to the part when we went wrong and showed us from there, turning the game to our advantage. Wow it was amazing on how he could remember each step and was able to retrace them. i cannot even remember 2 steps back of where i put the last seeds! His brain is like a computer! like when you type something wrong and just click undo and undo several times! Our eyes were popping out at that point hahah! The challenge was not a challenge at all cos there’s no fight! But i would say it was very COOL! Many colleagues were gathering around to watch and were all amazed at his expertise! i think he can go professional if he don’t work as a dealer in the future! earn a living playing Othello, start classes to teach people instead. So today’s lunchtime was fun and enjoyable! Totally beats the normal just-eat-and-get-back to office kinda lifestyle. A picture with the Othello World Champion to keep as memory. My honour.
